Freelance WordPress Developer for Hire
I've been building WordPress sites since 2020, and I build them so your team can edit every word and image without calling me. Custom themes or clean Elementor builds, fast on mobile, handed over with training.
Fig. 02 · Approach
WordPress sites your team can actually edit
Most WordPress problems I'm hired to fix have the same cause: a site built quickly, with 40 plugins and settings nobody can find. I build the opposite. Content lives in clear fields, layouts are reusable templates, and the plugin list stays short. You get a site that is easy to edit, quick to load and cheap to maintain.

What I build in WordPress
- Custom WordPress themes: built from your design, block-based or classic, with only the code your site needs.
- Elementor Pro builds done properly: global styles, reusable templates and no inline-style mess, so updates take minutes.
- ACF Pro and flexible content: page sections your team can add, remove and reorder like building blocks.
- Figma to WordPress: your designer's file turned into a pixel-accurate, responsive site.
- WooCommerce stores: products, checkout and payments for stores that want to stay on WordPress.
- Redesigns and migrations: moving from Wix, Squarespace or an old theme without losing content or rankings.

See what your editor sees
Flip the switch to see how a page I build looks to the person editing it. Every section is a block or a field with a clear name. Nothing is hard-coded that your team might need to change.
A WordPress page drawn as four layers lifting apart: content fields on top, then blocks and ACF field groups, then the theme, then WordPress core. The top two layers are what your editor changes.
Headings, text, images and buttons. Your editor changes these every day, in clearly named fields.

Why hire a freelance WordPress developer instead of an agency
You speak to the person writing the code, so nothing is lost between a project manager and a developer. You get agency practices (written scope, a staging site, version control, speed testing before launch) without paying for the layers.

How a WordPress project runs
- 01A short call and a look at your current site or design.
- 02A written plan: pages, features, plugins, timeline and a fixed price.
- 03Build on a staging site you can review any time.
- 04Launch, speed test, and a recorded walkthrough of how to edit everything.

WordPress developer FAQ
Should I use Elementor or a custom theme?
- Elementor suits teams who want to change layouts visually. A custom theme suits sites where speed and consistency matter most. I build both and will recommend one after seeing who edits the site.
Can you work on my existing WordPress site?
- Yes. I take over existing sites for fixes, new pages, redesigns and speed work. I start with a quick audit so you know what you're dealing with.
How long does Figma to WordPress take?
- A landing page is usually 1 to 3 days. A 5 to 10 page site is usually 1 to 3 weeks, depending on the number of unique templates.
Will my site be fast?
- I test every build on Google PageSpeed Insights before launch and aim for green scores on mobile and desktop. Hosting and third-party scripts affect the result, and I'll tell you if they're holding you back.
How much does a WordPress developer cost?
- Projects are fixed-price after a call. A landing page starts from $200 and a full site from $500. Small fixes can be done per task.
